Alex Lutz

Alex Lutz took the César's best actor award in 2019 for Guy, a film he directed himself: our catalogue names him both in the director field and in the cast of that 2018 film. The film appeared in 2018 and the award came one year later. That same document puts the best actress line against Léa Drucker. Guy is his only directing credit here, and in the other four films he appears only as an actor: Gaspar Noé's Vortex of 2021, Quentin Reynaud's Final Set, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, and Michel Hazanavicius's OSS 117: Lost in Rio. Vortex and Final Set came out in the same year.
