Anne Archer

Anne Archer played Beth Gallagher in Adrian Lyne's Fatal Attraction and was nominated for an Oscar as supporting actress. Before she throws her husband out of the house, Beth has him telephone Alex and tell her the affair is no longer a secret, and then lets her know that she will kill her if she makes another attempt to harm the family. Five years afterwards, in Phillip Noyce's Patriot Games, taken from a Tom Clancy novel, she brought to life Cathy, Jack Ryan's wife: back in Maryland she learns she is carrying their second child, and while collecting her daughter from school she is put into a car crash by gunfire from Sean Miller, who has followed them. The oldest film under her name here is the Lifeguard of 1976.
