Lesley Ann Warren

In Alan Rudolph's Choose Me, Lesley Ann Warren played Eve, who both owns and tends the bar of a downtown jazz and blues place; where, as the AFI sums it up, Mickey calls in one evening and draws Eve's interest to himself at once. Two years earlier, in Blake Edwards's Victor/Victoria, she was Norma Cassady, the woman King Marchan takes along, who pours praise on the show on stage while King stays suspicious. The AFI writes that the film won an Oscar in the best music category and drew six further nominations, and Warren's supporting actress nomination is among those six. Three of her six films here come before 1993 and three after.
