Sacha Baron Cohen

At the 93rd Academy Awards in 2021 Sacha Baron Cohen was nominated in two categories at once: supporting actor for The Trial of the Chicago 7, and adapted screenplay for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. By the Academy's records he won neither. His first nomination for an adapted screenplay had come at the 79th ceremony in 2007, for the screenplay of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America, which he wrote with Anthony Hines, Peter Baynham and Dan Mazer, the story being his, Baynham's, Hines's and Todd Phillips's. That nomination did not end in an award either. Among his eleven entries here, Madagascar, Hugo and The Dictator pull the heaviest vote.
