Nicolas Bedos

At the 2020 César ceremony Nicolas Bedos entered the record three times over with La Belle Époque: he won best original screenplay, remained a nominee for best director, and the film was counted among the best film nominees under his direction. Two more awards came to it that night, Fanny Ardant for supporting actress and Stéphane Rozenbaum for production design. Four of his films sit in our catalogue and he directed three, Mr & Mme Adelman, La Belle Époque and the Masquerade of 2022, while on Régis Roinsard's Populaire he appears as a performer. Of those three directing credits, only Mr & Mme Adelman also puts him in the cast.
