What A Ballad of Love Is About
The film is set in Leningrad. Galina works as a restorer. Her place of work is the Catherine Palace. She is a sculptor as well. She takes her work seriously and is devoted to it. But there is a loneliness in her life. Vera, a friend from art school, sees it. Vera introduces her to her husband’s colleagues. One is the friendly Mitya. The other is the quiet and distant Andrey. Galina soon finds herself between the two of them. The account is built on that dilemma.
