A Game of Cat and Mouse

The story takes place in a neighbourhood in Bogota. The neighbourhood is called La Estrella. Most of the people living there were displaced by violence. The houses are makeshift and work is hard to find. Word comes that electricity is to be connected. That counts as a great event. A celebration is arranged for the night. The Cristancho and Brochero families are neighbours. Both are families the district listens to. There is friendship between them and rivalry as well. On the night of the celebration things get tangled. Jokes, misunderstandings and small calculations chase one another. The film tells poverty through comedy. Jairo Camargo and Alina Lozano appear in the ninety five minute film, a Colombian production Rodrigo Triana finished in 2002.
