What A Millionaire's First Love Is About
A spoiled and indifferent rich boy learns he can only take his grandfather's inheritance on one condition: he has to finish school in a country town and collect the diploma. He goes to the village, meets a girl in his class and for the first time has to deal with something other than money. She has a health problem she does not hide. The film follows the familiar Korean melodrama pattern exactly: first love, the countryside, illness and tears. There are no surprises, and that was never the point. Hyun Bin is here before the fame.
