What Aa Naluguru Is About

The film is the story of a man willing to lose: an ordinary, decent person who never bends his principles and therefore keeps falling behind. For years he pays the price of honesty, while his family presses him to give up everything he stands for so that his children can have what they want, and in the end he is forced into a heavy step. Chandra Siddhartha’s hundred and forty one minute Telugu film shows what a life built out of loss looks like without turning a moral lesson into a position of superiority, with music by R. P. Patnaik. It opened on 9 December 2004 and won three Nandi awards, one of them for best film. Rajendra Prasad takes the lead, with Aamani and Kota Srinivasa Rao alongside him.
