Adalbert's dream

The events take place in a factory over a single day. Iulica is the health and safety chief there. He is a sly man with something likeable about him. That morning everyone’s mind is elsewhere. The night before, Steaua Bucharest won a great match. They are the only Romanian side to take the European cup. The men want to celebrate it. The day has an official programme, though. Party day is to be marked in the works canteen. The two wishes collide in the same hall. Iulica is caught in the middle. He has to run the ceremony and manage the work at once. The film compresses Romania in the eighties into that day. Gabriel Spahiu and Doru Ana appear in the hundred and one minute film, a Romanian production Gabriel Achim finished in 2011.
