Along the Roadside

Two young people meet on the road and carry on together. The two come from very different parts of the world. Their habits, their languages and what they expect do not match. Where they are going is a large music festival in California. Along the way the difference between them produces both friction and closeness. Both of them learn something about themselves on the journey. The film moves in the shape of a road movie and gives music plenty of room. Michael Madsen and Lazar Ristovski are in the cast, and so is Iman Crosson. Music becomes the common ground between the two of them. Zoran Lisinac’s American film, a hundred and eighteen minutes long, was completed in 2013.
