What American Folk Is About
Two people do not know each other. Both of them play folk music. They are stranded in California. The date is just after 11 September 2001. Flights across the country have stopped. Both of them need to get to New York. With no other option they take to the road. They will cross the country end to end. Along the way they meet people they do not know. Those people help them. That kindness is what the film is about. They make music through the journey. The songs become the road itself. Joe Purdy, Amber Rubarth and Krisha Fairchild appear in the ninety six minute film, an American production David Heinz finished in 2018.
