Andaz

Neena is the daughter of a wealthy businessman. She is spoiled and does as she pleases. One day she loses control while riding. A young man called Dilip rescues her. He falls in love with her. Neena treats him only as a friend. That difference keeps producing misunderstandings between them. Then her father dies of a heart attack. Dilip stays by her and comforts her. Just as he is about to speak, Rajan arrives. Rajan is Neena’s fiancé and he has come back from London. When he learns of Dilip’s feelings he grows suspicious of them. The suspicion grows and listens to nobody. The film is built on that knot between three people. Nargis and Dilip Kumar appear in the hundred and forty three minute film, an Indian production Mehboob Khan finished in 1949.
