Another Man

Francois is a young man living in the provinces. He writes about films for a small newspaper. What he knows about cinema is thin. Much of what he writes he takes from elsewhere. One day he meets a colleague with far more experience. The woman is called Rosa. She writes for the largest daily in the country. A relationship starts between them. Beside her the young man feels he falls short. The gap between them shows in every conversation. The account also asks what writing criticism amounts to. As the relationship goes on the lies grow. The film was shot in black and white. Robin Harsch and Natacha Koutchoumov take the leads, with Elodie Weber also in the cast, in the Swiss film directed by Lionel Baier.
