Stergios Dinopoulos's 2026 Greek film is set in a mountain village. Argyro, a farmer, and Anneta, the local manicurist, are close friends. Anneta says she is pregnant and leaving the village with her boyfriend. Rather than persuading her to stay, Argyro pulls her into an adventure; the narrative puts the friendship between the women ahead of any romance and keeps its tone strange. The cast are largely unknown. The images were taken in the village in natural light. The tone sits between comedy and mystery. Who it's for: those who like contemporary Greek cinema and films with an odd tone. Who it's not for: viewers expecting explanation; the film does not resolve its mystery.
