What Bheja Fry Is About
Ranjeet is a rich, bored, arrogant music producer. Every Friday he and his friends hold a dinner, and the rule of the game is that each guest brings an idiot to the table for the group to enjoy at his expense. This week Ranjeet's find is Bharat Bhushan: a tax inspector, well-meaning, endlessly talkative, and given to singing. Then Ranjeet's back goes and the two of them are left alone for the evening. The harder Bharat tries to help, the more of Ranjeet's life comes apart. It is an unofficial adaptation of the French film Le Dîner de cons, and despite a tiny budget it was a large success in India.
