What Cassiopeia Is About
Su-jin is trying to hold together a perfect life as a successful lawyer, a single mother and a good daughter. She plans to send her daughter Gina to study in the United States, where her ex-husband lives. As the work piles up, her father In-woo moves in to help look after the child, and the three of them live together for a while. Then comes a car accident and a diagnosis nobody expected, Alzheimer’s, arriving far earlier than it should. Shin Yeon-shick’s film builds everything after that on the relationship between a woman losing her memory and the father who stays. Seo Hyun-jin plays Su-jin and Ahn Sung-ki plays In-woo. It opened in June 2022.
