Belgrade, 1993. The tension of an uncertain time is everywhere. In one house there is a children’s birthday party. The children are celebrating in the living room. Their costumes are Ninja Turtles. The adults have gathered in the kitchen. There they talk, argue and flirt. Cigarettes and drink are in the kitchen too. The pent-up tension comes out at that party. The account takes place inside that party. The house is the central setting. The children’s room and the kitchen stand as two separate worlds. The film is put together as a drama. Dubravka Kovjanić and Stefan Trifunović take the leads, with Katarina Dimić and Olga Odanović also in the cast, in Milica Tomović’s Serbian film of 2022.
