Chamak

Kush works as a gynaecologist. He likes hanging about with his friends and does not want his routine disturbed. His family keeps pressing him to marry. Kush is afraid that marrying would cost him his freedom. A friend of his points out a way around it. If he marries someone who seems docile, his life will not be turned over. So Kush presents himself as an innocent sort of man. He plays that part in front of the family of the girl. He marries Khushi. Khushi looks traditional and quiet from the outside. After the wedding the truth of it comes out. Khushi is exactly the same as he is. She chose a man who looked innocent for the very same reason, because she did not want to give up her freedom. The two of them have played the same trick on each other. What follows turns into a reckoning on both sides. Ganesh and Rashmika Mandanna appear in the hundred and forty five minute film, an Indian production Suni finished in 2017.
