Adam Neal Smith C Chuck Blaum E Ethel Lung What Ciao Is About
Jeff's closest friend Mark is killed in a car accident. Sorting out what is left behind, Jeff finds a correspondence on Mark's computer: someone in Italy named Andrea, writing to Mark for months. The two of them never met, but Andrea's ticket to America has already been bought. Jeff writes to tell him what has happened. Andrea comes anyway. Two strangers spend a weekend in the same house with the same grief. Yen Tan made the film on a very small budget, with three people in the cast. There is not a raised voice in it. What it is about is two people who do not know each other having lost the same man.
