Clash of the Wolves

A fire in the mountains drives a wolf pack down into the desert, where it becomes a problem for the people living there. Lobo, the leader of the pack, is in fact part wolf and part dog. When the pack is seen going after a herd of cattle a posse sets off in pursuit; to save his pack Lobo draws the men after himself, is wounded and is found by Dave Weston, a prospector working in the area. The man nurses him back to health and the two become inseparable. Meanwhile a crook sets his sights on the borax claim Weston has found. In Noel M. Smith’s seventy four minute silent film, Rin-Tin-Tin plays Lobo, with Charles Farrell and June Marlowe in the cast. It was completed in 1925.
