Cold Light

Grímur is a man in his forties. He goes on with life inside an ordinary routine. He has shut himself into it. One day he decides to look at his past. The account goes back to his childhood. As a boy he lived in a fishing village. His family was large and warm. The child liked to draw. What he drew brought together the people he loved and his fears. Then a great disaster comes to the village. The boy had seen it beforehand. But he had not been able to tell anyone. Ingvar E. Sigurðsson and Unnur Ösp Stefánsdóttir take the leads. The film was adapted from a novel. Hilmar Oddsson’s German, Icelandic, Norwegian and British coproduction was finished in 2004.
