He decides to find the real killer himself. He takes two friends along with him. One is Makris, a reporter, the other is Delios, a politician. The three of them look into the case together. Before long suspicion falls on Myrto. Myrto is the daughter of Captain Kapsis. Kapsis was shot by the Germans during the occupation. The man who informed on him back then was Karnezis. So the young woman has a reason. As the investigation goes on, her innocence becomes clear. Meanwhile Dimitris and Myrto grow close to each other.
