What Dhaka Attack Is About
A stealthy criminal organisation carries out a run of attacks on the city of Dhaka. To break it, an elite police unit takes on a dangerous operation. The account shows the preparation inside the unit and the operation itself together, and as the investigation goes on it becomes clear that it does not end with the men on the street, that there is another structure behind them. The film became one of the few examples of police action cinema in Bangladesh and brings the city itself into the account. Arifin Shuvoo plays the lead in Dipankar Dipon’s hundred and forty seven minute film, completed in 2017.
