Dirty Mind

Diego is a shy man who has never quite got a hold on life. He has an accident, and when he wakes he is somebody else entirely. He is now a smooth talking stuntman who baulks at nothing. The reason for the change is a syndrome caused by damage to the brain. He becomes an ideal case for Jaana, a young neurologist. Everyone around him is waiting for the old Diego to come back. Diego himself wants nothing of the sort. The film builds its comedy on that strange unwillingness to recover. Wim Helsen and Robbie Cleiren appear in Pieter Van Hees’s hundred and three minute Belgian film, completed in 2009.
