Dog in a Sidecar

Kaoru is grown up now. She works as an estate agent. In her spare time she helps out at a fishing pond. There she meets a shy girl. The girl needs help baiting a hook. Kaoru helps her. That meeting takes her back. Back to her own year in the fourth grade. That was the year her mother left home. Then Yoko arrived at the house. Yoko was her father’s lover. Kaoru did not trust her at first. Yoko turned out to be a door to another world. That summer settled something for Kaoru. The story comes from a novel by Yu Nagashima. Yuko Takeuchi and Hana Matsumoto appear in the ninety four minute film, a Japanese production Kichitaro Negishi finished in 2007.
