What Don't Think About It Is About
Stefano is thirty-six and still playing bass in a punk band. Nothing is working in Rome, there is no money, and he is losing the flat he lives in. He packs up and goes back to the family house in Rimini. Nothing is right there either: his brother's business is about to go under, his sister's marriage is coming apart, and his parents will not discuss any of it. Everyone is stuck in their own corner and nobody is in a state to look after anyone else. Gianni Zanasi directs, with Valerio Mastandrea as Stefano, alongside Giuseppe Battiston and Anita Caprioli. It is a comedy, and the joke is always the same one: nobody has a plan and life goes on regardless.
