On the misty slopes of Kaattukunnu two people are trying to stay alive: Mlaathi Chedathi and Peeyoos. A name circulates over the region, Kuriyachan, a businessman with a dark past, and every story told in the hills attaches to him somewhere. The narrative runs across more than one time and more than one place, with different characters searching for the same figure. There are dogs too: a man who supplied dogs to the navy, and a breed brought from Malaysia. Dinjith Ayyathan directs. Bahul Ramesh wrote the screenplay and also shot it; the pair came back together after Kishkindha Kaandam. The cast includes Sandeep Pradeep, Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu and Biana Momin. The method is to withhold. The narrative is built as a mystery and the audience can only join the pieces towards the end; Kishkindha Kaandam worked the same way. The place functions inside the narrative. Mist, forest and altitude are part of the plot, and that the cinematographer also wrote the script accounts for the unity. It was produced by MRK Jhayaram for Aaradyaa Studios, the company's first film, and opened worldwide on 21 November 2025. Who it is for: viewers who like Malayalam mystery and slowly built tension. Who it is not for: the narrative has many strands, the first half gives nothing away, and the shifts in time are hard to follow.
