What Enforcement Is About
A riot begins in an immigrant neighbourhood after an incident of police violence, and two officers on patrol are trapped inside a block with no way out. This Danish film draws its tension almost entirely from geography: corridors, stairwells, doors that do not open. The two are built as opposites and the film exonerates neither, while also refusing to justify what is done to them. The handheld camera and near real time progression allow no rest. It was politically contested for attempting to hold both views.
