Everything's Fine, We're Leaving

Three sisters have built lives of their own. One day their father turns up. The man left them fifteen years ago. Their mother is no longer alive. Each of the three answers his return differently. Each has her own account to settle with him. Old hurts come to the surface again. The bond between the sisters is shaken too. After a while something becomes clear. The father is losing his memory. He is no longer able to manage from day to day. The youngest sister decides to take him back. That decision changes the family ties for good. Michel Piccoli and Natacha Regnier take the leads, with Miou-Miou and Sandrine Kiberlain also in the cast, in Claude Mourieras’s French film of 2000.
