Forget Everything I Told You

Felizbela loves her husband to the point of obsession. Her love is mixed with jealousy. In time the mixture turns into hatred. She will do anything to keep his attention. She will put up with humiliation for it. Messias, for his part, is a tired man. He expects nothing more from life. He can barely hide his contempt for his wife. The household stands on that tension. Then Bárbara arrives. Bárbara is Felizbela’s niece. She is a fragile and headstrong young woman. Her arrival upsets the balance of the house. Her cousin and her aunt are both affected. The one most affected is Messias. Felizbela, though, will not give in. Custódia Gallego and António Capelo appear in the hundred and twelve minute film, a French and Portuguese co-production António Ferreira finished in 2002.
