Game Change

A presidential campaign falling behind looks for a running mate who will draw attention and picks a little known governor. The preparation before the election proves harder than expected. The film takes the campaign team's point of view and shows how the decision was made rather than judging the candidate directly; its real question is whose responsibility an unprepared choice is. Real broadcast footage is set between the scenes. Jay Roach directed, with Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Ed Harris. It was made for television and adapted from a book; the people involved rejected its account. Before watching: the film rests on a one-sided source and is contested.
