Good Life Delivery

Hernan is twenty four, works as a delivery courier and lives alone in the big family house, his family having emigrated to Spain after the crisis of 2001. The house is full of memories and empty of people. When he falls for Pato, who works at a petrol station and is looking for somewhere to live, he opens the door to her. Then one day he comes home to find that she has invited her family too; she says it is for one night, and he slowly works out that they have come to stay. The film turns the takeover of a house into comedy, with the state of the country in those years standing behind it. Leonardo Di Cesare’s ninety three minute Argentine film took best film and best screenplay at Mar del Plata; it was completed in 2004.
