What Gravity Is About

Frederik, a young banker on the way up, has his orderly life crack open when a customer he refused a loan during the crisis shoots himself in front of him. Instead of carrying on as though nothing happened, he goes somewhere else entirely with Vince, an old acquaintance just out of prison: they rob the houses of his wealthy clients and hand the money to people who need it. The rush of crossing the line the first time quickly becomes a hunt for a larger dose. It was Maximilian Erlenwein’s first feature and the biggest winner at the Max Ophüls festival. Fabian Hinrichs and Jürgen Vogel play the two men.
