Hatıran Yeter

Ömer Faruk Yardımcı's 2024 Turkish film follows Baha, who lost his hearing to meningitis as an infant. He grew up alone, and meeting Leyla, who is also deaf, he comes close to someone for the first time. The conflict is pressure from family and those around them. Their being together is not accepted and the obstacles grow; the narrative builds this as an emotional matter and follows the melodrama form. Aytaç Şaşmaz and Belçim Bilgin are in the cast.
