What Hellfire Is About
Zeb Smith, a gambler, holds himself responsible when a travelling preacher takes a bullet meant for him and dies, and takes on the man’s unfinished work: he will have a church built. But collecting donations turns out to be harder than he thought, and in the end he tries to capture the wanted outlaw Doll Brown and claim the reward. The more he learns about her, the less the matter is what it seemed; his old friend Bucky, meanwhile, is hunting Doll, and Zeb looks for a way to save them both.
