Mahmoud is a married and contented man. His business partner is hurt in a car accident. Because of it he has to travel to Tehran. There he meets Sima and becomes attached to her. The two of them agree to a temporary marriage. It is a practice known in that part of the world. But trouble comes as the term nears its end. Sima does not want the arrangement to stop.
