Home in Indiana

Sparke is a boy who gets into trouble. When his aunt dies he is sent somewhere new. The place is a farm in Indiana. His uncle and his aunt live there. The boy does not care for the arrangement. But there are horses on the farm. He starts working with them. He takes a young filly for his own. He sets his mind on getting her ready to race. The work gives him a purpose. At the same time he meets a girl called Char. She knows horses too. Lon McCallister and Jeanne Crain take the leads, with Walter Brennan and June Haver also in the cast, in Henry Hathaway’s American film of 1944.
