What Incident Light Is About
In the Argentina of the 1960s, Luisa, who has lost her husband in a sudden accident, is trying to raise their twin daughters alone, while her family and everyone around her tell her to marry again. A man appears who is determined to have her, older than she is and about whom little is known. Dealing at once with grief, loneliness and the need for security, Luisa cannot tell whether this marriage would be a rescue or another kind of closing in. The film tells patiently, in the black and white of the period, how hard the decision is. Érica Rivas appears in Ariel Rotter’s ninety five minute Argentine film.
