J.W. Coop

J. W. Coop spent eight years in prison. When he gets out it is the late sixties. He wants to go back to what he did. What he did was ride in rodeos. He is trying to make up for the years he lost. He starts entering competitions again. The rodeo is not what it was. The business has become more organised. Scoring, sponsors and the travelling circuit have all changed. That is not the only thing that changed. Life outside is different too. People talk differently and live differently. Coop is trying to catch up with it. Cliff Robertson directed the film and plays the lead. Geraldine Page also appears in the hundred and twelve minute film, an American production finished in 1972.
