Jayam

The story starts in a village. Sujatha and Raghu are first cousins. Their parents decide the two will marry when they grow up. As a child Sujatha is given anklets by her uncle. She still wears them years later. Time passes. Raghu is caught taking money from the house. At school he beats a boy for talking to Sujatha. A quarrel breaks out, and his family moves away to another village. Sujatha grows up and starts college. On her way there she meets Venkat, who is poor but full of enthusiasm. They spar with each other at first and then fall in love. Nithiin, Sadha and T. Gopichand appear in the hundred and fifty two minute film, an Indian production Teja finished in 2002.
