Kaçma Birader

A family from Yozgat. Their youngest son falls for a girl and runs off to Istanbul. The family goes after him: father, mother and relatives all arrive together in Taksim. They do not know the city, they have no address, and all they have is a photograph. Looking for the boy, they get lost in the place; a hotel, a tavern, the police, a taxi driver, and every person they meet turns into a separate problem. Then the girl's family gets involved. In the end it stops being about finding the boy and becomes a reckoning inside the family itself. Murat Kaman and Defne Deliormanlı direct the Turkish comedy together; a hundred and seven minutes, from a screenplay by the brothers Emrah and Murat Kaman. Zafer Algöz, Melek Baykal and Emrah Kaman lead, with Algı Eke, Cihan Ercan and Necip Memili in the cast.
