Kathleen Madigan: Hunting Bigfoot

The film is a recording of a stand up show by Kathleen Madigan. Madigan has been on stage for many years and has won awards for it. In the show she talks about her family, her life on the road and the American Midwest. Boxed wine is among the things she takes up. She also has a plan of action for what to do if she hits a Bigfoot with her car. The account moves along a line that starts in the everyday and arrives at the absurd. The film does not step off the stage; there are no interviews and nothing from backstage. The seventy six minutes are given to a single show. Kathleen Madigan is the only person on stage in John Irwin’s American production, completed in 2023.
