Keeper

Maxime and Mélanie are fifteen and completely bound up in each other. Both of them assume it will last forever. Then Mélanie becomes pregnant. Maxime wants the child, and wants it with a determination that suggests he thinks it will make him an adult overnight. Mélanie is not sure. The families get involved, the school gets involved, and two children find themselves inside a decision far larger than they are. Guillaume Senez's first feature has Kacey Mottet Klein as Maxime and Galatea Bellugi as Mélanie. The film takes no side; it neither praises nor condemns. It only shows how differently two children can look at the same thing.
