Merlin is a school teacher. She is a newly married woman. One day she loses her temper in class. She slaps one of her pupils. The boy faints right after it. He is taken to hospital and goes into a coma. The child is fighting for his life. Merlin’s world turns over in a moment. Word spreads through the school and the neighbourhood. Everyone calls her to account. Her husband Manikandan is under the same weight. The account follows a stretch of eighteen hours. Through those hours everybody waits. The title means the punishing of a mistake. Radhika Prasidhha and Master Ajay take the leads in Bramma G’s Tamil film of 2015.
