What Long Weekend Is About

The businessman Christian had planned to spend the long weekend with Lisa, his young mistress. Instead the two of them are taken hostage. The men who take them are Jos and Nick, two of the forty six workers who lost their jobs a short while ago when Christian ran his family firm into the ground. Attempts to get away come to nothing, and even the fire alarm does not free them. Then Jos realises the mistress is his own daughter, Nick falls in love with Lisa, and the mood of the masked men changes. By the time the police arrive everyone has to tell the truth. Jan Decleir appears in Hans Herbots’s ninety three minute Belgian film, completed in 2005.
