Love Again

A woman who lost her fiance keeps sending him messages at his old number. The number has been reassigned and the texts arrive on a journalist's phone. He asks for help in finding her. The film keeps that premise inside a familiar romantic comedy shape; the narrative tries to make when grief can be set down its real interest, but the genre holds that back. Jim Strouse directed, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan. Celine Dion plays herself and recorded new songs for it. It is adapted from a German film.
