Loved Gun

Hayamada is a hired killer. The gun he carries draws the eye. The colour of the gun is red. The film follows him on the road. He has somewhere he must reach. But he cannot get there in time and runs late. As the account goes on his past opens up. Why he does this work becomes clear. How he came to be alone is inside the account too. Past and present move forward side by side. The film runs crime and drama together. The work is put together as a road story. Masatoshi Nagase and Aoi Miyazaki take the leads, with Hirofumi Arai and Ittoku Kishibe also in the cast, in Kensaku Watanabe’s Japanese film of 2004.
