What Main Khiladi Tu Anari Is About
Deepak Kumar is a famous film star preparing for a new part: he is going to play a policeman. To see the job from inside he attaches himself to the unit of a real officer, Karan. But Karan is not making a film; his brother was killed by an underworld boss and he is after revenge. Deepak finds himself in the middle of real bullets, with no camera and no second take. Sameer Malkan directs, with Akshay Kumar as Karan and Saif Ali Khan as Deepak, and Shilpa Shetty in the cast. Two hours and fifty-five minutes. A typical Hindi action comedy of the nineties: long, loud, and built on the two leads playing off each other.
