There is no peace in a boy’s home; his father drinks and beats his mother. At a certain point the mother leaves the house and takes her two sons to her own family. The boy comes across boxing at an army hostel and finds a place there for the anger he has been carrying. Training becomes both a way out for him and the road to being able to protect his family. The film does not use domestic violence as background decoration; it says plainly why the boy is fighting. Gaurav Rana’s Indian film came out in 2024, and the screenplay was written by Akash Pratap Singh, who also plays the lead.
